Cereal Killa

During my summer break, Mum and I went on a spontaneous trip to Cereal Killa!

They don’t have a website, but they do have an incredible drool-worthy Instagram feed that is worth checking out! Check them out here !

Cereal Killa is based on Dominion Road, Auckland City. We found it super easy to park down the road and then wander on down. Sometimes heading to the city can be a bit intimidating, especially in Auckland, as trying to find parking can be hard. However, this was not the case for Cereal Killa! Easy to find + plenty of places to park = a perfect afternoon haha!

The cafe is relatively small and narrow which just adds to the specialness! The decor is bright, clean and blue, and its got a fresh vibe.

The menus are attached to pieces of cardboard, which is great! Upcycling! They do offer food, but the main attraction is the Killa Shakes. On a side note; I am planning on going back to check out the food as it looked delish and affordable! They had everything from smashed avo, bacon butties and french toast (which looked divine, I almost drooled as the waiter took a plate past me)

The Killa Shakes are incredible, pure pieces of art! I had the Strawberry Diva and Mum had a Caramel Waffle. The Strawberry Diva had white chocolate pieces, candy floss, a cookie, ice cream and a delish sugar lollipop, all topped with strawberry sauce. The Caramel Waffle had popcorn, ice cream, a waffle and delish caramel topping. They were reasonably priced as well at $13.50 (NZD) each.

Absolutely divine! The entire experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. The customer service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly. At the end, whilst I was paying, I watched one of the Chefs complete the finishing touches to his Killa Shake, and then he stood back and smiled at his creation! I felt like that was such a special moment, witnessing someone do what they love.

Overall a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be going back again, and again, and again!
